The Office of Evangelization, Catechesis & our Youth & Young Adult Office ” strives to encourage all people to encounter Jesus daily and grow as his missionary disciples. ”
“This is what Jesus wants today: Missionary Disciples.” -Pope Francis We are here to serve all levels of the Church in the Diocese of Prince George. This includes parishes, schools, youth, young adults, clergy, and laity.
We recommend and offer programs for parishes, schools, families, and individuals to deepen their relationship with God and grow in faith, hope, and love. This includes retreats, seminars, parish missions, teachers retreats, and a growing array of outreach to youth and adults.
The words of the Pope point us all on the path ahead…
“A true missionary, who never ceases to be a disciple, knows that Jesus walks with him, speaks to him, breathes with him, works with him. He senses Jesus alive with him in the midst of the missionary enterprise. Unless we see him present at the heart of our missionary commitment, our enthusiasm soon wanes and we are no longer sure of what it is that we are handing on; we lack vigour and passion.
